Kenya’s football fans have changed to European teams

In Nairobi it is not news to see football fans cheering English teams. Who cares about local teams? It is either Liverpool or Manchester United. Some go for Chelsea and many others. Whatever is European is still attractive in Africa, why lie? Africans are in love with European culture. Many people throng public places to cheer English teams. Most of them even know the players by names, something that is very shocking. When local teams are playing, only few diehards stand to watch. Then some shout saying – “Gor Mahia” is bad because their fans are hooligans. But how about English fans? The worst and known hooligans in the world ar ethe English fans not Gor Mahia. It is just an oversight. Whoever says this has totally resolved to support European teams. This should not mean disliking one’s own culture. I bet!
