Respect for cultural rights has changed President Obama’s perspective on LGBT

The delicate issue of gay and lesbian rights popped up Saturday during a press briefing at State House as US President Barack Obama differed sharply with his host, President Uhuru Kenyatta, over the handling of those involved.

As much as President Obama believes in equality of persons he must also admit the cultural rights. President Uhuru told President Obama off. Equality is just a utopia. What is real is our cultural diversities and how people incline to their cultural values. What is not meant for Kenyans should not be imposed on them. Thanks Mr. President for this firmness and defence for the Kenyan values and cultures.
