Facebook and its inventor – what next?

Read more about the wonders of the world
Mark Elliot Zuckerberg (born May 14, 1984) is an American computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur. He was born 3 decades after me but now he is 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 decades above me by wide margins. Back to our feature on the digital technology, this weblog is interested mostly in revealing who is this young man, the key founder of facebook? Did he just wake up one morning and decided to come up with a software that now makes huge profits? Was he born to a saintly lineage or he is just as any other ordinary Kenyan young man? When I see many boys and girls stranded after many years in school and do not have clue about how to fit in the modern society, I wonder if this guy is any special being.
One fact in this story is that Mark Zuckerberg is co-founder and CEO of the social-networking website Facebook, as well as one of the world’s youngest billionaires. He is many times richer than many Kenyan land grabbers and corrupt leaders. By the age of 12 he was already a computer programmer. He went to Harvard University where President Obama went. He had a dream in social media and he has shaken the world by his facebook. This was his own interest. He dedicated his time.
He is very confident in what he created. Facebook now has many members. He created a larger company. He has had his rough time…he was accused of stealing others ideas. But, he stuck to his gun. The digital technology can do wonders. At his age he has become one of the most influential personalities in the world. In this weblog it is great to admire how human mind can do wonders. Mark created facebook not ex nihilo. He had to rely on others in order to get his ideas right.
There is nothing as powerful as human mind. Young people should not forget one thing, to care for what their mind can do. Add interest in what you are doing. Be passionate about whatever you are doing in life. Stop wasting yourself in alcohol, drugs and dirty ideas. Each person has certain hidden capability. Another secret is that it all depends on the society in which one is growing. Kenya is not America! If Mark were in Kenya, I still wonder if he would have been what he is. Kenyan inventors usually languish in poverty. The government is not aware of their potentials.
Read our next publication to find out who created M-Pesa technology, a software that has made Safaricom company richer than what one would expect. The inventor is never heard of but those who stole his ideas and patented them are now swimming in wealth. The Mpesa platform is now spreading out very fast from East Africa to Europe. Whether the original idea came from Vodafone, then to Safaricom, then to what and what, is yet to be shared in this open discussion. What is real, is that M stands for Money, and Pesa is from Kiswahili language meaning the same. I wonder if English people have such word as “Pesa”. Kenya is not America. You only got to be careful and put God in your life. Never dare! Zuckberg can only be compared to Steve Jobs, the founder of Apples technology – the touch screen. STORY CONTINUES…
